Super Mario Bros. Wonder Revealed at Nintendo Direct, Features New Elephant Power-Up

Nintendo dropped a gameplay trailer for Super Mario Bros. Wonder at its Direct showcase event held Wednesday. The 2D side-scrolling game is slated to release October 20 on the Nintendo Switch and brings a slew of new mechanics to the beloved platformer, including a new power-up that turns Mario into an elephant. Pre-orders are now live, and it marks the first brand-new side-scrolling Mario game from Nintendo in 10 years.
